Mrs. Ortega embarked upon the artistry of drapery creation within the confines of our family's modest one-bedroom apartment. The resounding acclaim for the quality and aesthetic allure of her craftsmanship soon resonated far and wide. In the wake of this burgeoning reputation, the inception of a window covering enterprise swiftly followed suit.
 

     Through the years Mr. Ortega focused on innovative strategies in manufacturing and in research and development of new and better products for the manufacturing process. Obtaining a patents for various products, Mr. Ortega developed the break-away tassel which became standard for our horizontal blinds. On top of this achievement he has developed different components for manufacturing and developed our own in-house injection molding and machine manufacturing department.
 

     In the year 2000, Mr. Ortega continued to forge ahead, crafting high-quality vertical and horizontal blinds from an array of materials, all offered at highly competitive price points. In conjunction with this transformation, the company underwent a name change to encompass its true essence within the realm of industries: Ortega Industries.

     The Ortega family of companies stands poised to cater to the needs of both our esteemed national and international clientele. Our facility, which has grown exponentially from its modest 5,500 square feet inception, now spans over 65,000 square feet and is staffed by a dedicated team of 100 employees.

     In December of 2004, Mr. Ortega, a visionary patriarch, entrusted the reins of leadership to his son-in-law, Omar Dube, who assumed the esteemed role of President of Ortega Industries. Mr. Ortega now presides as Chairman of the Board, continuing to provide unwavering support in the preservation of the company's legacy.
